DIY

I am known to be quite crafty!
I love seeing something that is AMAZNG at a store and finding the materials to make it for a fraction of the price. So that's what this page is for, let me know what you guys think!

Hanging Mason Jars

What you'll need:

  • Piece of wood
  • 4 Mason jars, or however many fit on the piece of wood you have
  • 4 clamps (found in the plumbing section at any hardware store
  • 4 thick, short screws
  • 2 Loop hook screws
  • Screwdriver or power drill
  • Twine

STEP 1: I spray-painted my piece of wood yellow, and you can do the same or leave it unpainted. First, you will want to drill small holes about an inch from the end of the wood. Then screw in your loop hook screws on both ends.

Your finished product after STEP 1 should look like this:

STEP 2: Next, measure out the distance you would like your mason jars and drill small holes in the piece of wood. This is where you will screw in your clamps that hold the Mason jars up. It should look like this...

STEP 3: Next, screw the clamps to where you placed your drill holes. It should look like this...
Repeat for all 4 clamps!
Your piece of wood should look like this after STEP 2 and STEP 3 are finished.

STEP 4: Next, place your mason jars inside the clamps. Then, tighten the screw on the clamp. This will tighten the grip the clamp has on the jar. Complete this set for all 4 jars.

When you are finished with STEP 4 your piece of wood should look like this:

STEP 5: Tie twine through the loop screw hooks tightly, I also used some framing wire for extra strength! Finally, hang your lovely homemade piece where you please!
